A US citizen; born in Argentina, he is descended from Scottish, English, and Norwegian immigrants who pioneered farming and the railways in the 19th century. He was educated at St. Andrew’s Scots School, and later at Universidad CAECE, obtaining a degree in Mathematics. He speaks English and Spanish fluently, having received bilingual education. He also has a working knowledge of Portuguese, Italian, French, and German.

He taught mathematics and science for over 30 years in secondary schools and colleges in Argentina, Brazil, and the US.

In 1999 he found a second calling, focusing on Information Technology, and applying his analytical, creative, and logical skills to coding and design. He worked in different environments, including  corporations, federal government agencies, non-profits, educational institutions, local governments, and small businesses.

In 2023 he retired from the IT world and dedicated his creative talents, enhanced by AI, to self-publishing books for children, for entertainment, on butterflies and nature, and on communication skills, all with the aim of creating a literary legacy for the newer generations of my family!

He currently resides in Rancho Mirage, CA.
